Fire Damages Oswego Home Basement Thursday Morning
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation, the Oswego Fire Protection District said.
OSWEGO, IL — The basement of a home in Oswego was damaged in the fire early Thursday morning, according to the Oswego Fire Protection District.
In a media release, the district said that firefighters responded to the fire at 3:30 a.m. on the report of a smoke investigation at a residence in the 0-99 block of North Cherry drive.
Upon arrival, firefighters found an electrical fire in the basement and it was brought under control within approximately 15 minutes.
