Found it On Etsy: Contemporary Fine Art Prints

Welcome to “Found it On Etsy,” a weekly feature of an Etsy art shop by a local artist or crafter.

What is Etsy? Etsy is an online market for crafters and artists to gather, sell their original products, and purchase or sell supplies.

This week features the shop JaneWilcoxsonStudios from Oswego.

JaneWilcoxsonStudios sells high quality giclee reproductions of Oswego artist Jane Wilcoxson's oil pastel or acrylic prints.

The prints Wilcoxson reproduces are made on archival paper with Epsom pigment inks, which she describes as emulating the original painting so closely that it is like, “buying original art without the original art price tag.”

Wilcoxson primarily depicts nature and animal scenes in her prints. Her print Chagall’s Circus Elephants (see above) recently won second place at the Suburban Art Walk in Naperville.
