Intoxicated Oswego Man Walking On Road Charged with Pot Possession

The incident occurred early Saturday morning at Wolf and Roth Roads.

An Oswego man was charged with multiple offenses after being found walking in the roadway on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 1:01 a.m., according to the Kendall County Sheriff's office.

Michael Aaron Swope Jr., 26, of the 200 block of Springbrook Trail South, Oswego, was observed by deputies to be intoxicated and walking in the roadway at Wolf Road and Roth Road. 

When deputies attempted to speak with Swope, he reportedly threw an item to the ground. It was discovered to be cannabis.

He was taken into custody and charged with the possession of cannabis, pedestrian under the influence of drugs and alcohol, improper walking on the road and littering.
