Kathleen J. Light, 88, was a Member of St. Anne Catholic Church
Visitation for Kathleen Light will take place on Tuesday, June 11 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. A mass of christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 12 at 10 a.m.
Kathleen J Light, 88 years, of Montgomery, IL died Saturday, June 8, 2013 at her residence. She was born February 9, 1925 in Aurora, IL the daughter of the late Valentine A and Hattie S nee Eckland Klein.
She was a longtime member of St Anne Catholic Church in Oswego, IL.
She is survived by a daughter Linda (Gerald) Podschweit of Yorkville, IL, three sons Ronald (Christine) Light of Oswego, IL, David (Margaret Sue) Light of Yorkville, IL, Robert (Debra) Light of Montgomery, IL; ten grandchildren Janet (Todd) Pappas, Michael Light, DVM, Steven Light, Daniel (Julie) Light, Julie (Scott) Engle, Lori (William) Brown, Lisa Hiltz, Timothy Podschweit, Stephen (Nicki) Alsip, Becky Alsip, nine great grandchildren; two sisters Sylvia Hagerman of Aurora, IL, Carol (Kenneth) Dieter of Sandwich, IL; sister-in-law Rosie Klein of Mesa, AZ and beloved care taker Elettra DeNoyer.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Light, daughter Diane Hester, sister Mary Allour and brother James Klein.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Dunn Family Funeral Home with Crematory 1801 Douglas Road Oswego, IL.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St Anne Catholic Church 551 Boulder Hill Pass Oswego, IL. Burial will take place at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Aurora, IL.
