Kendall Co. Coronavirus Death Count Remains at 22 For Three Weeks

KENDALL COUNTY, IL — There have been no new coronavirus-related deaths in Kendall County in three weeks, according to public health data.
The Kendall County Health Department said in a release Monday that death count remains at 22, with 874 cases and a total of 552 in recovery.
According to Illinois Department of Public Health data by ZIP code, there have been 719 people tested for COVID-19 in 60548 with 76 confirmed cases, 1049 tested in 60545 with 151 confirmed cases, 1,264 tested in 60560 with 103 confirmed cases, 2,039 tested in 60538 with 303 confirmed cases and 2,259 tested in 60543 with 257 confirmed cases as of Monday.

State health officials announced 658 new cases of the coronavirus Monday and 23 additional deaths from COVID-19, the respiratory illness caused by the virus. The statewide total now stands at 128,415 confirmed infections and 5,924 known deaths.
