Kendall County Sheriff Releases July Enforcement Campaign Numbers
The Kendall County Sheriff's Office hosted a three-week-long speed enforcement campaign in July.
KENDALL COUNTY, IL — During the Kendall County Sheriff's Office's three-week-long traffic safety campaign in July, officers issued a total of 95 tickets, officials said Thursday.
From July 9-31, deputies partnered with the Illinois Department of Transportation, Illinois State Police and more than 200 local law enforcement agencies to increase patrols looking for speeding and other traffic violations.
Deputies wrote tickets for the following citations:

- 365 speeding
- 1 child seat violation
- 13 suspended/revoked licenses
- 21 uninsured drivers
Three fugitives were also apprehended during the campaign that was paid for using federal traffic safety funds from the Illinois Department of Transportation.
"We will continue to promote traffic safety by encouraging safe driving practices and enforcing speed limits," Undersheriff Bobby Richardson said in a statement. "Safe driving habits not only protect you and the passengers in your vehicle, they protect everybody on the road."
