2022-0324, Accident with Injuries: On 01/30/22 at 8:03 am, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 10000 block of River Road in Bristol Township for a report of a single vehicle crash with injuries. As a result of the crash, Emily K. Hartmann, a 22-year-old female from the 0-99 block of Blackhawk Springs Road, was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

2022-0325, Warrant Arrest: On 01/30/22 at 10:20 am, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 0-99 block of Old Post Road in Oswego Township to attempt service on a warrant. Contact was made with Isidro Medina, a 31-year-old male from the 0-99 block of Old Post Road in Montgomery, who was taken into custody on a failure to appear DUI warrant issued by Kendall County. He was transported to the Kendall County Jail without incident.
2022-0329, Grooming: On 01/30/22 at 6:04 pm, Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the 1100 block of W. Jones St. in Little Rock Township for a report of grooming. The investigation is ongoing.
2022-0330, No Valid DL: On 01/30/22 at 7:79 pm, Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of IL Route 31 and River Run Blvd. in Oswego Township for an equipment violation. The driver of the vehicle, a 17-year-old male from Plano, was found to not have a valid driver’s license and was found to be in possession of alcoholic liquor. The juvenile subject was released to a parent.
2022-0331, Driving While License Suspended: On 01/30/22 at 9:15 pm, Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on W. Anchor Dr. near Illinois Route 31 in Oswego Township for an equipment violation. The driver of the vehicle, Sabas Vargas, a 45-year-old male from the 1000 block of Monomoy St. in Aurora, was cited for driving on a suspended driver’s license. Vargas was issued a recognizance bond and released.
The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
