2022-0526, Speeding: On 2/15/22 at 7:33 am, deputies conducted a traffic stop on US Route 30 near Douglas Road in Oswego Township.  The driver of the vehicle, Nicolas J. Chen, a 20-year-old male from the 900 block of Briarcliff Rd. in Bolingbrook, was cited for speeding 74 mph in a 45 mph zone. Chen was issued a recognizance bond and released. 

2022-0526, Speeding:

2022-0530, Criminal Sexual Assault: On 02/15/22 at 10:46 am, deputies took a report for a criminal sexual assault that occurred in the 1000 block of Route 30 in Oswego Township.  The investigation is ongoing.

2022-0534, Criminal Sexual Assault: On 02/15/22 at 3:10 pm, deputies took a report of a criminal sexual assault that occurred in the 300 block of S. Church St. in Fox Township. The investigation is ongoing.

2022-0535, Domestic Battery: On 02/15/22 at 5:25 p.m., deputies responded to the 0-99 block of Old Post Road in Oswego Township for a report of a domestic battery.  This investigation is ongoing.

2022-0539, Battery: On 02/15/22 at 10:07 pm, deputies responded to the 4300 block of Tuma Rd. for a report of a battery.  The investigation is ongoing.

The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
