2022-0347/0348, Driving while License Suspended/In State Warrant: On 02/01/22 at 8:13 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Route 34 in Oswego. The driver of the vehicle, Jacqueline V. Calderon, a 31-year-old female from the 0 to 100 block of Seton Creek Drive in Oswego, was taken into custody for a Kendall County failure to appear warrant for driving while license suspended and transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing. Calderon was also charged with driving while license suspended.

2022-0353, Driving while License Suspended: On 02/01/22 at 1:46 p.m., deputies responded to the 100 block of Wolf Road, Oswego Township for a property damage traffic crash. The driver of one of the vehicles involved, Jaida Ross, a 21-year-old female from the 1900 block of Marlboro Lane in Crest Hill, was cited and released on a recognizance bond for driving while license suspended.
2022-0355/2022-0357, Traffic Crash with Injury/DUI: On 02/01/22 at 06:03 p.m., deputies responded to Route 71 and Hollenback Road, Fox Township for a traffic crash with Injury. The driver of one of the vehicles involved, Tanya M. Berndt, a 42-year-old female from the 400 block of Grant Street in Sheridan, IL, was arrested for driving under the influence. While on scene, Berndt was treated by Newark Fire Protection District Medics for non-life threatening injuries. Berndt was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing. Berndt was also cited for improper lane usage, no insurance and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
