Letter to the Editor: Amanda Mancke 'Will Provide Leadership That is Transparent and Freely Communicates with the Public'
Would you like to publish a letter in support of a candidate in the April 5 election? E-mail steven.jack@patch.com

If Oswego is going to continue to be the town we all call home, and have grown to love, we must have a village board that can lead us through these difficult economic times.
Our village needs Amanda Mancke and her fresh ideas on our Village Board. Amanda will provide leadership that is transparent and freely communicates with the public. She vows in these tough economic times to support our our police department and its growing needs to fight crime and keep us safe.
But first and foremost, we need tax relief. As a downtown business owner I feel that some of our community leaders are not in favor of bringing new business to our community. We can move in two directions, forward, or backward. Moving forward, I hope the next village board will encourage growth and bring some much needed tax revenue to our downtown and our Village. I also hope to see all of our Village leaders visiting our downtown businesses, and not just at election time.
Amanda is for creating a better business climate and drawing new business to our community. We need a change in the leadership of our community. Amanda Mancke represents the change we need. As our April elections draw near, I encourage you to educate yourselves and cast your vote on April 5th for Amanda Mancke for Village Trustee.
