Letter to the Editor: Fill-The-Boot Campaign Sets a Record in Oswego

On behalf of the Oswego Fire Protection District, Oswego Firefighters Local 4773 and the MDA, I would like to thank everyone involved in this years’s MDA Fill-The-Boot Campaign.

The weather was a little unbearable at times on a few of the days but as a collective group we were able to collect a new department record of $13,442.12. This exceeded last years collection of $9,281. At the beginning of the drive we had set a goal of $12,000.

I would like to thank everyone that was involved in the collection efforts this year. This is a group effort for a great cause we should all be very proud of our community of stepping up and helping out.
