Letter to the Editor: Smith the Right Person for Auditor Position

From now, until March 20^th, voters will be asked to eliminate the elected County Auditor position.  The Republican Party has a top notch candidate for County Auditor.  His name is Alvin P. “Philip” Smith.

This  Salutatorian Oswego High School alumnus went to Northern Illinois University, and graduated Summa cum Laude in Accounting.  He furthered his education by graduating from the DePaul University College of Law.  Should the voters choose to keep the elected County Auditor, we could not wish for a better person as our next County Auditor.
