Send your letter to the editor to steven.jack@patch.com

The Oswegoland Optimist Club’s Needy Family Christmas Project is well underway.
For over 20 years, the club has provided Christmas gifts to kids in Oswego and Christmas dinner for the family. This year is proving to be the largest so far, with 99 families with over 250 children in need of a little help for the holidays.
This year we have teamed up with the and to ensure that all children have a happy Christmas. Distribution of gifts and food will be Saturday, Dec. 17, at St. Lukes in Montgomery.

If you would like to sponsor a family, please contact Tina Conley via email at superbowlbride@gmail.com. You will then receive instructions and the child’s wish list. The wish list is intended as a guide to the child’s needs, sizes and favorite activities. We appreciate the support of the community in our mission to bring out the best in kids!
