Letter to the Editor: Volunteers Help Make Senior Center Garage Sale a Success

Send your letter to the editor to steven.jack@patch.com

It took weeks, days and hours of work to put together the very successful second garage sale.

With over 70 volunteers, too numerous to name, I would like to thank each of you for the faithfulness you gave to the Oswego Senior Center and the many things you did including, pricing, moving tables, artfully arranging merchandise, picking up items from homes, unloading it into the gym, hauling sold items to cars, baking, cashiering, coming early, staying late and most of all helping to clean up the gym after the sale.

Special thanks to Yvonne Moore who endured many backaches bending over pricing most of the merchandise and Carol Mazza who walked every inch of the gym many times arranging and re-arranging the merchandise.

Grandma's Attic, an array of collectible items, a delightful addition to the sale was magnificently handled by Mary Collins and Liz Torgerson.

And last, but not least, thank you to all who contributed items to the sale, without which we could not have had such a successful event.
