Man Charged With Aggravated Arson For Oswego House Fire: Police
Christopher Gongora is alleged to have started a fire in a bedroom of the residence, police said.
OSWEGO, IL — A man was charged with aggravated arson Tuesday for a house fire in Oswego, the Oswego Police Department said.
The fire occurred at 2:15 p.m. Sunday in the 700 block of Richmond Drive, and Christopher Gongora is alleged to have started a fire in a bedroom of the residence, police said. No one was reported to have been injured in the fire.
A Kendall County Judge issued a warrant yesterday for Gongora’s arrest with a $200,000 bond, with 10 percent to apply. Gongora was arrested and taken into custody at Rush Copley Hospital Tuesday afternoon and transported directly to the Kendall County Jail for processing.
A court date is pending.
