Man Drove Car Through Cemetery, Into Yard And Trampoline

The 23-year-old driver was cited for the incident.

OSWEGO, IL — Police said a 23-year-old Oswego man received multiple citations after driving through a fence into Pearce Cemetery, then into a backyard where he hit more fences and a trampoline with his Dodge Charger early Sunday. Police said Austin Middaugh then fled the scene just after 2:20 a.m.

Hours later, Middaugh was located his home in the 100 block of Pfund Court, Oswego police said.

He was cited for reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

He is due in court Sept. 10, according to a police report.
