Officers Arrest Man Wanted on Child Sex Abuse Charges Near Oswego

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man wanted on charges of rape of a child out of Greene County, AR, on Friday in the 300 block of Andover Drive in Oswego Township.

The Sheriff’s Office was recently contacted by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office with information that Corey Robert Tackett, 19, was staying at the Andover Drive home. Sheriff’s deputies went to the home at about 7 p.m. Friday and Tackett was taken into custody, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office news release.

As of Monday, Tackett was still in the Kendall County Jail, according to sheriff’s spokesman Deputy Craig French. French referred questions on the case to the Greene County Sheriff.

Contacted Monday afternoon, a spokeswoman with that office refused comment, citing a pending investigation.
