The Moving Wall was created by John Devitt, who along with Norris Shears, Gerry Haver and other Vietnam veteran volunteers, built the replica in Texas, in 1984. Two structures of The Moving Wall now travel the country from April through November, making stops for five to seven days.
The stop in Oswego is being sponsored by the Fox Valley Veterans Breakfast Club, the Village of Oswego and the Oswegoland Park District. The organizations are putting together committees to help with the project and recruit volunteers.
