In a statement released Tuesday, Police Chief Jeff Burgner said officers remained vigilant all night to ensure safety of residents.
OSWEGO, IL — Several businesses on Main Street in downtown Oswego had boarded up Monday afternoon in an effort to safeguard their establishments against looters. But during the night until Tuesday morning, there were no reports of unrest, according to the Oswego Police Department.
