OEHS Teacher Arrested at School Wednesday
Keith Laski is facing a disorderly conduct and harassment by telephone charge.

An teacher was arrested Wednesday at the school in connection with an outstanding warrant out of Aurora.
Keith Laski, 32, of 471 Honeysuckle Lane in Yorkville, was picked up by at about 12:50 p.m. on a warrant for harassment by telephone.

The arrest marks the second run-in with police in two weeks for Laski, who was charged with disorderly conduct at about 9:30 p.m. Dec. 2 after getting in a verbal altercation with someone at a Waubonsie Valley High School basketball game.
According to Aurora police, Laski fled the scene of the basketball game after being asked to stop by security and police officers. He was stopped a short time later by Aurora police in the 2900 block of Ogden Avenue, they said.

The harassment by telephone charge stems from unwanted phone calls and text messages sent to the same person, according to Aurora police. The victim signed a complaint on that charge Dec. 6.
According to the District 308 website, Laski is a member of the Kinetic Wellness Department. Kristine Liptrot, the district’s director of communications, said Laski is still teaching at OEHS.
“We will use the police’s investigation to determine in our own investigation what effect, if any, this will have on the teaching and welfare of students and staff,” she said.
