Oswego Fire Department Responds to Bedroom Fire

An electrical fire has displaced a family from their Boulder Hill home

On Tuesday evening the Oswego Fire Department responded to a fire on Tealwood Road in unincorporated Boulder Hill, according to a department press release.

Firefighters found the fire isolated to one bedroom, and extinguished it in ten minutes. No one was in the home at the time and no injuries were reported. The department estimated the damage at $50,000 to $60,000, and the family will not be able to stay in the home. The fire was caused by an electrical issue.
