Oswego Fire Taking Unwanted Cars For Training
You can clear up some driveway space and help the Oswego Fire Department better train its firefighters with just one phone call.

OSWEGO, IL — The Oswego Fire Protection District is asking the public for vehicle donations to help keep firefighters trained up. Real vehicles give firefighters hands on training so they're better prepared for vehicle extrication, EMS investigation training and more, according to a release.
They'll take any care, pickup truck, van or SUV that has a clear title in your name. It doesn't even have to run, but they prefer the vehicles roll.
Oswego Fire will arrange transportation for the vehicle, so it's a perfect opportunity for residents to get that unwanted old scrap heap off their driveway.
