Oswego To Give Away 500 Free Pumpkins Oct. 10 To Celebrate Fall
Stop by the site of the future Oswego Entertainment Venue on Station Drive to pick up their free pumpkin between noon and 3 p.m. on Oct. 10.

OSWEGO, IL — To celebrate autumn, the village of Oswego is giving away free pumpkins for residents to decorate their front porches with. Stop by the site of the future Oswego Entertainment Venue on Station Drive to pick up their free pumpkin between noon and 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10. Children are encouraged to come in costume.
The future Oswego Entertainment Venue is coming soon to the 1000 block of Station Drive,
near the Park 'N' Ride parking lot. Staff and volunteers will be there to greet and direct you.
Five-hundred pumpkins are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Open to Oswego residents only. Residents must be prepared to show ID with an Oswego address upon request. This has been sponsored by Allied First Bank and Midwest Bank.

According to the release from the village, public health precautions will remain in effect. Staff and volunteers will be observing guidelines from state and local health authorities, including distancing and face masks. Residents are asked to wear a face masks when interacting with staff and volunteers.
