How do you know your graduating student nominee?
Granddaughter
Tell us why they deserve to be nominated!
Ava was one of many that started her high school years at the onset of Covid. She was extremely disciplined with her remote learning and graduated Summa Cum Laude.
She was named an Illinois State Scholar and a Community Service Honoree. She put in many hours writing essays and applying for scholarships, to which she received several, to help with the cost of college.
She also worked two jobs and played on the school's tennis team.
She will be attending ISU in the fall to pursue a career in Elementary Education and we are so proud of her.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about your graduating student nominee?
She’s an all-around great girl in the way she balances home, school, and work. A very caring and sweet girl to her younger sister and always makes time to spend with her grandmother and great- grandmother!
Congratulations on your achievements, and all of our best wishes to you in the future, Ava!
