Oswego Library To Open Monday With Limited Browsing Amid Pandemic

Face masks and social distancing will be required of all patrons.

OSWEGO, IL — The Oswego Public Library District will reopen its library campuses Monday as the state moves to Phase 4 of the governor's reopening plan amid the coronavirus pandemic.

District officials announced in a Facebook post Tuesday that the two campuses will have limited browsing and computer use. Face masks and social distancing will be required of all patrons.

The two libraries — located in Oswego and Montgomery — have been closed since March due to the stay-at-home order in an attempt to contain the virus. The library district, however, has continued to offer limited patron services.
