OSWEGO, IL — An Oswego man is charged with four counts of domestic battery, endangering the life of a child, resisting arrest and obstructing a police officer after an incident Tuesday in the 100 block of Oaklawn Avenue. Police said officers were dispatched to a report of "an agitated man ... acting aggressive and losing control" at the home at around 12:53 p.m.

As officers were responding, they learned the man, identified as Dylan S. Traynor, had left his home, entered his vehicle and was attempting to drive away with his young child as witnesses attempted to prevent the vehicle from leaving the area.

When officers arrived, Traynor was still in the vehicle and refused to comply with commands to exit the vehicle, police said.
