Oswego Man Arrested in Prostitution Sting
National Day of Johns nets eight arrests in Aurora.

An Oswego man has been charged with misdemeanor solicitation of a prostitute as part of a nationwide Columbus Day weekend law enforcement initiative.
Alex D. Skowronski, 63, of the 20100 block of Farmington Lakes Drive, was one of eight men arrested Sunday by Aurora Police, according to a news release.
All of the arrests were "street level" and took place in locations where Aurora Police have received complaints of prostitution-related activities, the release said. The exact locations were not released to not compromise future operations.

The local sting was part of “National Day of Johns Arrests” — a sweep headed by the Cook County Sheriff’s office that involved eight law enforcement agencies simultaneously conducting arrests on the streets, in hotels, brothels, via the internet, and elsewhere, the release said.
