Oswego Police Challenge Runners To Beat Their Race Times In Upcoming 5K

The third annual I Raced the Law 5K and one-mile run will return in the spring.

OSWEGO, IL — Can you race the law and win? Oswego police are challenging locals to beat them in a 5K race on April 19.

The Oswego Police Department will host its third annual I Raced the Law 5K and Color Run, where runners will race against a police officer in their age and gender bracket.

Whoever beats the officer's time will get to check the "I Won" box on their race t-shirt, and the top three finishers in each category will receive an award, officials said.
