Oswego Runners Finish Strong
Michalek now has a second place to go along with her state title.
Oswego runners made an impressive showing at the Class 3A state cross country meet at Peoria’s Detweiller Park Saturday.
senior and defending state champion Ariel Michalek took second this year with a time of 16:37. Naperville Central's Amanda Fox won the title this year with a time of 16:24.
junior Kelsey Hjorth took 13 place with a time of 17:13.
