Oswego Students Sign Letters Of Intent To Play Collegiate Sports

Eighteen students from Oswego East High School and 13 students from Oswego High School signed National Letters of Intent.

OSWEGO, IL — Thirty-one students from Oswego High School and Oswego East High School signed letters of intent to play collegiate sports with their schools of choice, Oswego Community Unit School District 308 officials announced.

National Letter of Intent Signing Day has become a celebrated event as years of hard work culminate in the moment student-athletes commit to a verbal scholarship they received from their colleges. It's traditionally the first day that a high school student can sign a binding National Letter for a collegiate sport with a school that is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association.

Eighteen Oswego East High and 13 Oswego High student-athletes committed on April 9 and April 16, respectively.
