Swimmers from the Oswego high schools girls co-op swimming and diving team advanced to state this weekend with a strong showing at the Nequa Valley sectionals. The state tournament will be held Friday and Saturday in Winnetka at New Trier High School.
Heading for state are:
- 200yds Medley Relay Hannah McDowell, Emily Wulff, Sydney Lloyd, Erin Newman
- Diving Jordan Anderson
- 50yds freestyle Erin Newman
- 100yds breaststroke Emily Wulff
- 200yds, 500yds freestyle Nelly Casas
- 100yds butterfly, 100yds backstroke Sydney Lloyd
Coach Deryl Leubner was also honored as coach of the year at the Nequa Valley Sectional.
