Oswego Teen Killed In Fiery Car Wreck: Kendall Sheriff
The 17-year-old boy, a student at Oswego High School, died Friday night, officials said.

OSWEGO, IL — A 17-year-old boy from Oswego was killed Friday night when the car crashed and caught fire on Minkler Road, according to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office.
The teen was identified as Sean Fader, a student at Oswego High School.
The crash occurred at about 8:51 p.m. Friday. According to the sheriff's office, Fader was driving southbound on Minkler Road when the car left the road, crashed into a tree and caught fire. The teen was the only one in the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The sheriff's office is investigating the incident and coordinating with the Kendall County Coroner's Office. The Oswego Police Department and Bristol Kendall Fire Protection District assisted at the scene.
As students and the community mourn Fader's death, Oswego High School officials asked everyone not to gather at the site of the crash "to prioritize the safety of all." School staff opened the community room from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday and said additional opportunities would be set aside to gather and remember Fader.
