Oswego Woman, 20, Killed In Crash: Kendall Coroner

The driver disregarded a stop sign and was hit by a car passing through the intersection in unincorporated Na-Au-Say Township, police said.

OSWEGO, IL — A 20-year-old Oswego woman was killed Tuesday evening in a crash in unincorporated Na-Au-Say Township, according to the Kendall County Coroner's Office.

The crash occurred at about 4:38 p.m. at the intersection of Grove Road and Route 126. Violet Jensen, of the 0-100 block of Northwest Pass, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The coroner determined Jensen's cause of death to be multiple blunt force injuries due to the crash, officials said.

Jensen was driving a Kia Spectra southbound on Grove Road and "disregarded" a stop sign at Route 126 when a Chevrolet Impala headed west on Route 126 crashed into the car, Illinois State Police told Patch.

The intersection was closed until 9:07 p.m. for an investigation.
