Photo Slideshow: Kids Get Down and Dirty at Park District Event

Patch photographer ventured out to the Puddle Jumpers event Saturday morning at Prairie Point Community Park, and boy was it a filthy mess.

Kids ages 2 to 5 explored, played, dug, rolled, splashed and jumped in a giant mud pit for more than hour. Older kids took to the pit Saturday afternoon.
