Oswego area police reports Jan. 30 to Feb. 6

Sunday, Feb. 6
DUI accident
Duwain Kennedy, 36, 3476 Fox Hill Road, Aurora, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident at about midnight Sunday after a single-car crash at Routes 34 and 30, according to Oswego Police reports. Kennedy was not injured in the accident and was given a court date of Feb. 25.
Theft from cars
Three residents in the 100 block of Seton Creek Drive in Oswego had items stolen from their cars overnight Feb. 5. In the first case a stereo and a men's coat stolen, together valued at $400, was stolen, according to Oswego Police reports. The report said the car was left unlocked overnight. Two other residents along the same block also had unvalued items stolen overnight.

DUI
Mike Delgado Jr., 21, of 514 Madison St., Yorkville, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and driving at one headlight at Route 71 and Liberty Court at about 4 a.m. Sunday, according to Oswego Police reports. He was given a court date of March 11.
Paraphernalia, marijuana possession
Araceli Munos, 18, of 100 block of Laurie Lane, Oswego, and a female juvenile from Streamwood were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana at about 5:45 p.m. Sunday, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s office report. The report said the juvenile’s vehicle was stopped after it was observed pulling out of a closed business at an industrial park at Laurie Lane and Dolores Street.

DUI
Marcus Payne, 20 of Oswego, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after his vehicle became stuck in a snow embankment at Douglas and Montgomery roads Saturday, according to Montgomery Police reports. He was also charged with driving on a suspended drivers license.
Domestic battery
Calvin C. Hemphill, 22, of 26 E. Van Buren St., Oswego was charged with domestic battery at his home at about 11 a.m. Feb. 5, according to Oswego Police reports. He was given a March 8 court date.
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Three Oswego men were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday after being stopped at Douglas and Longbeach roads, according to Oswego Police reports. Adrian Villegas, 18, 695 Manhattan Drive, Oswego; Charles Dickey, 20, 505 Rosebush Lane, Oswego; and Mauricio Carrillo, 28, of 472 Greenview Drive, Oswego, were all given March 11 court dates.
Failure to appear
Justin O. Pacheco, 19, of 521 Rosebush Drive, Oswego, was charged with failure to appear at about 1:45 p.m. Friday at 2733 Route 34, according to Oswego Police reports.
Stolen snow blower
Managers at the Kendall 10 Movie Theaters reported a $450 snow blower was stolen from the theaters, 95 Fifth St., at about 6:45 p.m. Thursday, according to Oswego Police reports.
Battery
Calnee Campbell, 28, of 1700 Light Road, Oswego, was charged with battery at about 5:45 p.m. Wednesday at her home, according to Kendall Count Sheriff’s office reports. The sheriff’s office responded to the home for a report of a battery. Deputies met with the victim and determined a battery had occurred and charged Campbell.
Refrigerator stolen
The owner of the home in the 700 block of Boniventure Drive in Oswego reported a stainless steel refrigerator was stolen from the home sometime before about 1 p.m. Jan. 31, according to Oswego Police reports.
Fleeing and eluding police
Jennifer Kirkolis, 46, of 547 Northgate Circle, was charged with fleeing and eluding police, reckless driving, no valid driver’s license and endangering the life of a child at about 8 p.m. Jan. 30 at her home, according to Oswego Police reports. She was given a March 11 court date.
Car windows smashed
- A resident in the 200 block of Fox Chase Drive reported to Oswego Police that the window of her car was broken while it was parked in the driveway before 12:30 p.m. Jan. 30, according to Oswego Police reports. The damage was estimated at $300.
- Another resident of the 300 block of Century Drive in Oswego also reported a car window smashed before about 2:45 Jan. 30. Damage is estimated at about $150.
- A final resident in same block on Century Drive also reported a car window smashed sometime before 2 p.m. Jan. 30, according to Oswego Police reports. Damage estimates to that vehicle were unknown.
