Monday Jan. 17

Drug Possession Charged

Thomas Connolly, 26, of 107 Cinderford Drive, Oswego, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of less than 10 grams of marijuana and speeding after officers pulled him over at about 12:15 a.m. Jan. 17 at Wiesbrook Road and Hartford Court, according to Oswego police reports. He posted $100 bond and was given a Feb. 22 court date.

Tools Stolen

Oswego police reported about $170 worth of tools stolen from , 4500 Route 71, before 9 a.m. Jan. 17. No other details were available and the incident is still under investigation.

Sunday, Jan. 16

DUI Charges Filed

  • Laura Curran, 25, 954 Oakland Lane, Aurora, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane use at about 2 am. Jan. 16 after being stopped at Route 30 and Orchard Road, according to Oswego police reports. She was given a Feb. 9 court date.
  • Kirk Anderson, 31, of 584 Redhorse Lane, Yorkville, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane use at about 2:30 a.m. Jan. 16 at Route 71 and Orchard Road, according to Oswego police reports. Anderson posted $100 bond and was given a Feb. 22 court date.

DUI, Drugs Reported

Timothy Walzer, 30, of Mendota, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs at about 6:30 p.m. Jan. 16 after Kendall County Sheriff’s Office deputies stopped him near downtown Oswego, according to reports. Sheriff’s deputies said they received a report of an impaired driver and began following Walzer’s Chevrolet Camaro near Route 34 and Orchard Road. They saw him drive into a concrete median while traveling south on Washington Street, according to the report.

Saturday, Jan. 15

Domestic Battery Alleged

Officers charged a 16-year-old Oswego male juvenile with domestic battery at about 8:30 p.m. Jan. 15 in the 200 block of Lombardy Lane, according to Oswego police reports.

Friday, Jan. 14

Cell Phone Stolen

Oswego police are investigating an incident in which a woman reported her daughter’s cell phone was stolen from , 4240 Route 71, between 9:10 and 10:40 a.m. Jan. 15. The value of the phone was placed at $600.
