Tuesday, Feb. 22

Marijuana possession

Monique D. Swope, 25, 821 Victoria Drive, Montgomery, was charged with marijuana possession, no rear taillights and expired registration at about 8:20 p.m. Feb. 22 after being stopped at Fifth Street and Route 30, according to Oswego Police reports. No information on a court date was given.

Wallet taken

Oswego Police reported that a 56-year-old Aurora woman had her wallet stolen while shopping at Dominick’s at Route 34 and Douglas Road at about 5:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Merchandise stolen

Oswego Police received a report from a business in the 2000 block of Route 34 that someone had stolen about $600 worth of merchandise at about 10:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Monday, Feb. 21

Civil War gun stolen

Oswego Police reported Monday that a resident in the 600 block of Salem Circle had a Civil War-era gun and a pair of binoculars stolen from the home sometime in the last three months. The items are valued at more than $500.

Sunday, Feb. 20

Chainsaws stolen

An employee of a business in the 1000 block of Harvey Road reported the theft of three Stihl chainsaws from the garage of the business sometime before 10 a.m. Sunday, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s office report. The chainsaws were valued between $300 to $690.
