Hit and run
are investigating a hit-and-run that took place in the parking lot of Walmart at about 3:40 p.m. Tuesday. The victim, a 26-year-old Oswego man, was not injured.

James and Sonia Kowalski, of 2300 Light Road in Oswego Township, were both charged with domestic battery at about 11:20 p.m. Tuesday at their home, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report. Deputies were called to the home for a domestic violence situation and found the two had battered each other.

Brandon Risch, 18, of 312 Waterbury Circle in Oswego, was charged with driving with a suspended license and possession of drug paraphernalia at about 11:20 a.m. on Washington Street, according to an Oswego police report. He was given a Dec. 28 court date.
Sunday, Dec. 4
Burglary to car
Oswego police are investigating a theft to a motor vehicle that took place sometime before 7:40 a.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Polk Street. An aluminum break, miter box and check book were taken.
Friday, Dec. 2
Tailgate taken
Oswego police took a report of a theft of a tailgate from a 1994 Chevy S-10 pickup truck sometime before 8 a.m. Dec. 2 at Harvey and Wolf roads. A property loss value was not given.
