Beaver Crossing Break-in

A resident in the 300 block of Beaver Crossing reported to that someone entered their home and took a Wii system, two men’s watches, a Bose Wave Radio and a bottle of cologne sometime before 3:20 p.m. The value of the items was listed at about $1,290.

Gun possession

Ricardo Campo, 35, of Glen Ellyn, was charged with possession of a firearm with no valid firearm owner's identification card at about 11:30 p.m. at Route 71 and Franklin Street, according to an Oswego police report. He was also charged with having no valid driver’s license, the report said. He was taken to Kendall County Jail and given a Nov. 9 court date.

A resident in the 200 block of Adams Street reported to police at about 1:20 p.m. that someone keyed his truck over the weekend, causing more than $500 worth of damage.

Sunday, Oct. 23

DUI

Marshall C. Murphy, 21, 17 Lyncliff Drive, Oswego, was charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage after rolling his truck at Route 71 and Forest Avenue at about 1:30 a.m., according to an Oswego police report. He was given a Nov. 18 court date.

Friday, Oct. 21

Obstructing police

Marcus Hale, 18, of Montgomery was charged with obstructing a police officer at about 11:15 p.m. at Douglas Road and Route 30, according to an Oswego police report. He was given a Nov. 9 court date.

Marijuana possession

Alex D. Otto, 20, 22 Grant St., was charged with possession of marijuana and speeding at about 1:15 a.m. at Orchard Road and Route 34, according to an Oswego police report. He was given a Nov. 11 court date.

Thursday, Oct. 20

Retail theft

Elizabeth Holle, 40, of 200 Bellvue Circle, Oswego, was charged with retail theft and on an in-state warrant at about 2:45 a.m. at Walmart, according to an Oswego police report. She was given a Dec. 2 court date.
