Retail Theft, Car Burglary: Oswego Police Logs

Here's what Oswego police got up to Tuesday, Nov. 13.

OSWEGO, IL — Oswego police released reports of their activity on Tuesday, Nov. 13. They dealt with a few cases of theft and burglary and made one arrest.

Any arrests listed below are not implications of guilt.

Around 1 a.m., police arrested Marcial Xochitecati, 18, of the 600 block of Concort Street, Aurora, on charges of unlawfull possession of alcohol by a minor and retail theft of $14.99 value from the Meijer in the 2700 block of Rt. 34. He posted bond an is expected in court on Dec. 12.

Around 3 a.m., an "unknown male" stole $16.98 worth of alcohol from a business in the 1830 block of Rt. 30 by Wolf Road. He was described as a while man in his 20's about 5-foot-8, about 175 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a brown coat, black pants and a black hat, police say in the report.

Around 6 p.m., police got a report of a laptop stolen from a vehicle in the 300 block of Kensington Drive between 7:30 p.m. Monday and 7:45 a.m. Tuesday. The vehicle was unlocked, the police said in their report, and the laptop was valued at $500.
