Sheriff Looking For Oswego Man Charged With Theft, Forgery
Alex Thompson, 27, has allegedly stolen almost $20,000 from his place of employment in a year, police said.
OSWEGO, IL — The Kendall County Sheriff's Office is looking for an Oswego man who was charged with two counts of Class 3 felony on Aug. 18. According to a release from the sheriff, Alex Thompson, 27, from the 3700 Block of Wolf Road, was charged with theft and felony.
On April 1, the Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies were contacted regarding a theft at a business located in the 1300 Block of Route 31 in the unincorporated Oswego Township, police said. It was alleged that over the course of approximately one year, an employee had stolen approximately $20,000 in cash and checks.
Kendall County detectives began an investigation and a warrant was issued for his arrest, with the bond set at $10,000, with 10 percent to apply.
