Tires flattened

A resident of the 1400 block of Light Road, Oswego Township, reported to Kendall County Sheriff’s Office deputies at about 9:45 a.m. Sunday that someone flattened all four tires on his vehicle. According to the sheriff’s report, there are suspects in the case.

Domestic battery

Depree Sharp, 27, 108 Harbor Drive, Oswego Township, was charged with domestic battery Dec. 30, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report. Deputies said they responded to the home and learned that Sharp had slapped a female acquaintance and left the scene. He was later taken into custody by Aurora police.

Resisting arrest

Sonia Kowalski, 23, 2300 Light Road, Oswego Township, was charged with domestic battery, criminal damage to property and resisting a police officer at about 5:45 p.m. Dec. 29, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report. During an argument with a male acquaintance, Kowalski grabbed his arm as he tried to leave the home and attempted to drag him from the front seat of his car, the report said. When officers arrived, she also resisted them and tried to drag them back into her apartment, the report said.

Hit and run

Someone struck a traffic light at Route 31 and Caterpillar Drive in Oswego Township around 12:40 p.m. and then left the scene, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. The damage is estimated at $3,000 to $5,000, police said. Police are still investigating the incident, and anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 630-553-7500.
