Sheriff's Blotter: Obstruction, DUI, Minors Net Alcohol Charges

Sunday, July 22
Obstruction
Michael A. Swope, Jr., 25, 203 Springbrook Trail, Oswego, was charged with obstructing justice after he originally provided a false name and date of birth to officers at 4:08 a.m. at Boulder Hill Pass and Aldon Road, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said.
DUI

Kristi J. Cole, 24, of the 900 block of Canyon Trail, Yorkville, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 3:04 a.m. at Laurie Lane and Dolores Street, police said. Cole was also cited for parking within 20 feet of a stop sign.

Teens net alcohol charges

Rebecca J. Phetteplace, 19, of the 900 block of Upper Brandon Drive, Aurora, and a female juvenile, also of Aurora, were charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor at 1:30 a.m. July 21 at 30 Whitney Way, police said. Reports state the juvenile was also charged with curfew violation.

Hit and run
Someone struck a parked vehicle and left the scene at 2:45 p.m. in the 100 block of Laurie Lane, police said.
