Tuesday, July 26

Aggravated fleeing, eluding

Joe White, 31, of the 0-99 block of Ingleshire Road in Montgomery, was charged with drunken driving, aggravated fleeing and eluding, and multiple traffic violations after he led Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies on an early-morning chase through Oswego Township, police said. At one point during the chase, White snapped off his headlights, according to police. White was eventually stopped at 2:25 a.m. on Saugatuck Road near Pueblo Road, police said.

Underage drinking

Four men, one from Montgomery, were charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor after a traffic stop at 3:58 a.m. at Century Drive and York Drive in Oswego, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. The four: Steven Rivera, 20, of the 0-99 block of Winter Hill Circle in Montgomery; Bradley Lemar, 20, of the 200 block of Willowwood Drive in Oswego; Nicholas Welch, 20, of the 200 block of Fox Chase Drive in Oswego; and Nicholas Vrbanec, 20, of the 0-99 block of Oakwood Drive in Oswego. Lemar was also charged with speeding and served notice of a zero tolerance license suspension, police said.

Saturday, July 23

Domestic battery

Nicholas Stadler, 20, of the 0-99 block of Chatham Road in Boulder Hill, was charged with domestic battery and illegal consumption of alcohol after police found him at 4:45 p.m. in the Amesbury Road area of Boulder Hill, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. Anthony Urrutia, 21, of Sterling, was charged with driving on a revoked license for driving Stadler around, police said.

Brick vs. car

A vandal used bricks to smash in two windows of a 1994 Nissan Altima parked in the 0-99 block of Sonora Drive in Boulder Hill sometime before 8:06 a.m., Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said.

Friday, July 22

Speeding

Brian P. Downes 47, 42 S. Cherry Drive,  was charged with speeding more than 40 mph over the posted speed limit at about 9:45 p.m. Friday, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report. Sheriff’s deputies stopped Downes near Minkler Road and Hunt Club Drive after they said he was clocked at 107 mph in a 45 mph zone.

July 19

Break-in

A resident in the 3000 block of Steward Road, Oswego, was the victim of a residential burglary sometime before 3:45 p.m. July 19, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report. The resident reported to deputies that someone entered his garage and stole a .38 caliber handgun valued at about $549.
