Sheriff's Office Arrests Multiple Juveniles in Curfew Violation Incidents

Incidents happened between June 27 and June 30 and resulted in 7 arrests.

There seems to be an increase of teenagers out past curfew and it's catching the eye of the law. 

Multiple juveniles were arrested the past few days for a series of curfew violations in the Oswego area by the Kendall County Sheriff's office. 

On Sunday, June 30 a female juvenile, 15, was arrested at 1:09 a.m. at Spring Garden Drive and Marnel Road and charged for driving without a valid license and a curfew violation.

Earlier in the week on Friday, June 28, two female juveniles, both 15, were arrested at 3:42 a.m. at Springdale Road and Longbeach Road, Montgomery. One female juvenile was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and a curfew violation and the other was charged with a curfew violation.

And on Thursday, June 27,  four juveniles were arrested – one 16-year-old male, one 15-year-old male, one 14-year old male and one 15-year-old female.

The group was arrested at 3:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego and all were charged with a curfew violation, said the Sheriff’s office. Deputies originally received a report of the three missing males who had left home at 10:30 p.m. to get food and never returned to the residence. They, along with the female, were located at Boulder Hill Elementary School. 

According to the Oswego Police Department, curfew begins for all those under 18 years old at 11 p.m. Sunday - Thursday and 12:01 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
