Snapshot: Makeup Artist Scares Up Fun at Thompson Junior High

Sally Kempton, local professional makeup artist and photographer, visited with Angela Robinson's visual and graphic arts classes on Wednesday, Oct. 19.  Students were eager to learn how the current art classes they're enrolled in at , prepare them for careers like Mrs. Kempton's.

Mrs. Kempton demonstrated the application of black and white grease makeup, and direct correlations were made to projects students had recently completed within the junior high visual arts curriculum. Due to school policy, the names of the students pictured could not be released.
