Snapshot: Thompson Junior High Students Celebrate World Book Night

In celebration of World Book Night, social studies Kelli Springsteen and LRC Director Teresa Fawer Buan together distributed 40 free copies of the book Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life by James Patterson to their students at Thompson Junior High in order to celebrate and spread the love of reading.

World Book Night was held on April 23, 2013.

Buan also selected Mary Engfer’s seventh grade Language Arts class, as well as Jean Trahant’s Reading class to read Middle School The Worst Years of My Life by James Patterson. The students were given a copy of the book to keep, and the classes  will be reading the novel together.
