One of the great things about working for a startup company like Patch is we're constantly working to perfect what we deliver to readers.

That means new content like what we're rolling out this week is always just right around the corner. Our new content is focused on helping our readers find information from around the community in a centralized location. Some of it is also aimed at engaging our readers in community conversations.

Here's a day-by-day account of what we've got in store.

Let's face it, we could all stand to save a buck or two when it comes to our families. Frugal Family will highlight a handful of can't miss deals from around Oswego. We'll provide all the links, so you won't have to search from site to site.

Moms Talk Q&A
Moms Talk Q&A is a question and answer forum where moms (and dads) can get and give advice on a range of topics important to parents. Our Mom's Council of three local moms, led by our Mommy Moments columnist Kristen Rivers, will work each week to find great topics for parents to discuss.

By the time Wednesday rolls around, thoughts turn to what families will do over the weekend. This quick planner will give you five great ideas to get out and go with the kids.

Get Out
It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend. Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your work-done-outta-here time. Check our picks for the activities to hit and new bars/restaurants/shops to explore.

Are you the kind of person who likes to check out local open houses? House Hunt will provide a list of open houses from around Oswego for the weekend.

Every week we'll find a great local event to photograph and assign one of our great Oswego Patch photographers. A photo slideshow of 20 to 30 photos will highlight all the cool things happening around town.
