Thanksgiving Day Horse Farm Fire Causes $300K In Damage
Multiple fire departments responded to a fire in a machine shed.
OSWEGO, IL — Oswego firefighters and multiple other agencies spent two hours Thanksgiving Day fighting a fire at a Na-Au-Say Township horse farm on Thanksgiving Day. Fire officials estimated the blaze caused $300,000 in damage.
Firefighters responded around 1 p.m. to find a machine shed on a large horse farm fully engulfed.
No injuries to civilians, firefighters or horses were reported, but the machine shed and all of its contents were a total loss, according to Oswego fire officials.

Oswego was assisted by the Plainfield, Minooka, Troy, Little Rock-Fox, Bristol-Kendall, Lisbon-Seward and Sugar Grove fire departments.
