Are we in for rain or shine this Halloween? Check out the latest Oswego trick-or-treating weather forecast.

OSWEGO, IL — Before the town’s cutest witches and goblins take to Oswego streets in search of Halloween’s sweetest bounty, it’s a good idea for parents to check out what Mother Nature has in store for our community’s annual trick-or-treating festivities.

Trick-or-treating in Oswego is planned for 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday. Considering the event is just days away, there’s a good chance we might luck out when it comes to the weather.

As you head out on Sunday, expect a high of 52, a low of 35 and a 12 percent chance of rain.

Earlier this month, village officials gave out free pumpkins to residents at Venue 1012 as an early celebration. But children will have another opportunity for Halloween activities besides trick-or-treating Sunday. The Oswegoland Park District is hosting its 37th annual Monster Mash Bash at Oswego High School Saturday.

If you want a bit more reassurance on the trick-or-treating forecast, the National Weather Service forecast calls for much of the same. The forecast shows Saturday will be partly sunny with a high near 59 and a low around 41. Sunday will be sunny with a high will be near 56, while Sunday night will be partly cloudy with a low of around 37.
